Primary Care in Stafford, Texas

CATHERINE MALIK, MSN, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC
Catherine Malik is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner who is qualified to practice in both primary care and psychiatry, as well as diagnose, treat, and prescribe medication for children, adolescents, and adults. Catherine received both family and psychiatric nurse practitioner degrees from Walden University, where she was elected to Phi Theta Kappa Society of Nursing and graduated Summa Cum Laude. With over 15 years of healthcare experience in various settings, Catherine is passionate about the overall well-being of each individual and will provide personalized mental and healthcare services and primary care in Rosenberg, Texas, for ages five (5) and above.
Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Catherine worked in a busy hospital in the medical-surgical unit, step-down ICU unit, and observation units. She then advanced to become a family nurse practitioner and worked with pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. She fell in love with Psychiatry when she would encounter patients with mental health issues, and because she wasn’t certified as a psychiatric provider, she would have to refer out. At that time, Catherine decided to get her post-master’s degree in psychiatry so that she could provide both mental health and healthcare services for her patients. Outside of work, Catherine enjoys traveling, swimming, shopping, and spending time with family, friends, and her pets.
We work with all the patients to help them reach full recovery
